  1. This work of Maureen Greer is UNlike ANYTHING I have read ANYWHERE! Bathed, washed, soaked in God’s Word – The Psalms of Scripture in particular – the author challenges the reader, almost “dares” the reader, to slow down (should I use the word “STOP”?). And, while being in this “long pause,” to not only consider what is being said in Scripture, but to actually apply the Truth of Scripture to your life, your situations, and the reasons why you are in the situations in which you find yourself. Thank you, Maureen Greer, for going thoroughly deep in a most loving and gentle and understanding way. To whomever else might read this comment be aware that this is not a casual or whimsical book on spiritual health. If you open this book, you have to want to be healthy in the deepest ways and to be willing to change. Jesus once asked a paralyzed man if he wanted to be healed. The reader of Maureen Greer’s book needs, in my opinion, to WANT to be healthy in order to truly profit from this wonderful work!

    • Mr. Ed Germann! Thank you for your encouraging and thoughtful comments which reflect a person who has health from deep within amidst all the struggles and challenges common to many. Your words nourish me; the thought of how you encourage others nourishes me; the truth that God is your rock and that you “get it” about the scriptures nourishes me. Your whole person is a source of nourishment to many – in any language!! My friend, thanks for that afternoon snack which did not come from a “bag or box”! I’m going to chew on it for awhile – just like we do with God’s Word and food…chew, chew, chew!
